Numpelia · A JAVELARK product
Numpelia is the business management software we are building at JAVELARK. It brings the ledger, the warehouse and the paperwork into one place, so a business can see where its money and stock actually are.
Status: in preparation for launch. Numpelia is not available to the public yet. Availability and pricing will be published here.
Many small businesses keep their accounts in one place, their stock in another and their invoices in a third. The same sale gets entered several times, the figures slowly drift apart, and month-end becomes an exercise in working out which number is right.
Numpelia is designed around the documents a business already uses: quotations, orders, delivery notes, invoices and returns. Each document updates stock and the books in one step, so there is one record of what happened.
A general ledger with the records a business needs to know where its money is.
Items and stock, tracked by warehouse, with every movement recorded.
The documents that move goods and money, from quotation to invoice.
Accounting software is only useful if people trust its numbers. These are the rules Numpelia enforces.
Sales and purchasing
Sales invoice is posted
Customer, items, quantities and prices recorded once.
Inventory
Stock is issued
From the right warehouse, valued at average cost.
Accounting
Ledger is updated
Revenue and the customer balance are recorded.
If posting is interrupted, posting again completes it. Nothing is duplicated and the document keeps its number.
Every stock movement and ledger entry is tied to the document that caused it. If posting is interrupted, posting again finishes the job without duplicating anything.
A document keeps its number through an interrupted posting, and it cannot be edited or cancelled while a posting is in progress.
Each type of sales or purchasing document can be set to require approval before it affects stock or the books.
Negative stock is prevented, and reserved quantities are held for the orders that reserved them.
Each part of the system keeps an audit trail of who changed what, and when.
Every company’s records live in their own database rather than sharing tables with other customers.
Tell us what you sell, how many people handle the books and the stock, and what you use today. We will let you know when Numpelia is ready for a business like yours.
